My CI Jenn was absolutely amazing!  Not only did I learn a lot from her clinically, but I feel like I learned a lot about myself as well.  She definitely gave me so much more confidence than I had when I walked into the clinic.  Also, the rest of the therapists there.  I had the privlidge of working with each one of them and would only be honored to be able to work with them again in the future.  This is such a close, organized, kind, intelligent, cohesive group and I could only pray to be apart of something like this someday.

"Alanna, I have some good news. This past weekend I took a Taping elective and the instructor went through some practice case studies with the class.

He went through functional treatment progressions showing bird dog, bridging and the "X-factor". A lot of people in the class were unaware of what bird dog was or the X-factor. He also talked about cervical treatment (1st rib mobilizations, upper trap stretch, etc) I felt very prepared for the discussion because of everything I have learned at SPTNY! Also in a class I am taking right now we do some work with the 1st and 2nd year DPT students to help prepare them for upcoming clinical and classes. One of the assignments is to teach them proper documentation and provide them feedback on SOAP note documentation. I can not wait because you taught me so much about proper documentation. I miss everyone at SPTNY and still wish my clinical was longer so I could have kept learning."

Thank you,

In my affiliation I experienced a great opportunity to see a wide variety of disorders/injuries across the lifespan. You can be working on a shoulder at 10AM and have an evaluation on a foot at 2PM…the variety is incredible. I also like how I was slowly progressed in terms of caseload and patient complexity. The amount of evidence based research that is utilized is also a great asset to the company and the overall affiliation.
