About this Clinic

Our clinic offers a professional, friendly, and fun environment to assist you in your rehabilitation. We have been treating patients in this area for over 15 years. You will be treated by experienced physical therapists that use hands on skills, as well as functional and evidence based therapeutic exercises to facilitate a quick and healthy recovery.

Alanna earned her Bachelor of Science degree in 1999 from Daemen College in Amherst, NY. She started working at the Sports PT location in Syracuse, NY following graduation where she focused on rehabilitation of post-operative injuries as well as concentration on treating high level sports-related injuries. In 2003 Alanna relocated to Tonawanda, NY where she now manages multiple facilities within the Upstate NY territory while maintaining a strong emphasis on clinical excellence. She has attended numerous advanced continuing education courses for both spine and extremity rehabilitation and has incorporated that into a muscle imbalance philosophy for treatment. Alanna is a certified Clinical Instructor through the American Physical Therapy Association which allows for strong mentorship programs with the local colleges and universities.

Teresa earned her Doctorate of Physical Therapy Degree from the State University of New York in Buffalo in 2006. She began working at Sports PT following graduation and recently was promoted to Facility Manager. Teresa has actively participated in patient care, student internships, and continuing education opportunities on a regular basis. She is currently pursuing a special interest in the treatment of vertigo and vestibular system rehabilitation.

Nick earned his Bachelor and Masters of Science at D�Youville College, where he received his Physical Therapy degree and has been successfully treating patients for the past 6 years. He has lectured on various topics to businesses, case managers, community groups, and physicians. He currently oversees the student internship program and has attended many continuing education courses. He has worked in Sub-Acute rehab and Outpatient orthopedic settings during his career, and is certified in performing Functional Capacity Evaluations. He is an avid sports fan and enjoys �trying� to play golf when he gets the time.

Julie graduated from Daemen College in 1999 with her Bachelor of Physical Therapy and returned to Daemen in 2002-2004 to earn her degree for Doctorate of Physical Therapy. Julie has been treating in the orthopedic setting since 1999 and practiced pediatric PT for one year. She acted as facility manager for one year and now helps with chart audits and proper documentation for Sports PT. Julie is a certified clinical instructor, participates in clinical student education and attends continuing education courses regularly. She has 2 young girls at home and is currently treating part-time.
