About this Clinic

Our facility offers a hands-on approach to individual care. Our physical therapists have varied interests within the PT specialty and continue to attend continuing education programs to expand our knowledge and treatment programs to benefit our patients. We are well respected within the community and continue to develop relationships with local physicians. Our Patient Services Coordinators are top notch and look forward to making your time with us as pleasant as possible.

Name: Melissa Schaub, MA, PT
Credentials: Facility Manager, Physical Therapist

Melissa graduated from Touro College in 1994 with a Masters in Arts Degree in Physical Therapy and a Bachelors in Science for Health Sciences. In 2004, she completed the Hand and Upper Quarter Rehabilitation Program at Drexel University in Philadelphia. Melissa is currently preparing to sit for the specialty exam to become a Certified Hand Therapist. Melissa has been at the Rockville Centre facility for the past 12 years. When she is not working, Melissa enjoys family time, travelling, golf and playing with her Chocolate Labs.

Meredith graduated from Manhattan College in 2003 with a Bachelors of Science in Exercise Science. She then went on to graduate from SUNY Stony Brook Health Science Center in 2006 with a Doctorate in Physical Therapy. She has completed various continuing education courses in functional training of the upper and lower extremities and core stabilization. Meredith has been working with SPTNY for 2 years. In addition to playing lacrosse while at Manhattan College, her hobbies include skiing, tennis, enjoying the beach and spending time with family and friends.

Daniel graduated from Quinnipiac University with a Bachelor's degree in Health and Science Studies. He then went on to Quinnipiac Graduate school where he graduated with a Master's Degree in Physical Therapy. Daniel has been a beach lifeguard over the last eight summers and when he is not working he enjoys a variety of sports and recreational activities such as basketball, lacrosse, surfing, and snowboarding. Daniel is excited to be a new member of the Sports P.T. team and looks forward to working with and helping a variety of patients.

Sue is a Physical Therapist Assistant that graduated from Nassau Community College. She enjoys working with patients of all levels, getting them back into life. Sue spends most of her free time with her two children who are active in Cub Scouting and enjoy the outdoors. Sue looks forward to different opportunities to expand her knowledge base by participating in Continuing Education opportunities.
