How did she come to Sports PT? “Sports PT found me!”
Has more than 37 years of experience in the healthcare field
Graduated from Ithaca College in 1978 with her degree in Physical Therapy
Earned her National Certification in Athletic Training the following year in 1979
Began her physical therapy career in pediatrics while serving as a volunteer high school athletic trainer for various teams
Began her sports medicine management career at Cornell University in 1981 where she was the Supervisor of the Physical Therapy Department
Moved to Syracuse, NY in 1986 to open Onondaga Sports Medicine Center, a sports medicine-focused outpatient rehabilitation center
Joined HealthSouth under a management contract in 1994, where her responsibilities grew from managing two locations in Central New York to more than 50 locations across the state by 2000
Founded Sports Physical Therapy of New York, PC after the termination of HealthSouth’s management agreement on July 1, 2005
What’s her favorite part of the job? “Mentoring my people.”
What does she enjoy outside of work? “Being with my family, volunteering, watching my husband’s football team, reading, and playing golf.”

Resides in Syracuse with her husband, Matt, a retired physical education teacher at Fayetteville-Manlius high school and a collegiate football coach at Cortland State University
Their three adult children have also joined the medical and fitness/wellness professions

Becky has been a leader within Sports PT for over 10 years, serving our Western New York locations in Downtown Buffalo, East Amherst, Tonawanda, and Wheatfield. Becky has a passion for treating athletes and is a skilled vestibular clinical provider as well.
As a Regional Manager, Becky oversees the operations of all 4 Western New York locations, as well as mentors new staff and builds community relationships.

Alison has been a leader within Sports PT for over 10 years, serving our Eastern New York locations in Saratoga and Malta. Her desire and passion to treat orthopedic conditions, train new clinicians, and educate our communities in the importance of learning as much as they can in order to have control over their bodies and to not let pain run their lives.

Amy has been a great addition to the Sports PT team for over 10 years. She started her career in our Tonawanda clinic, then moved to our East Amherst clinic, where she now resides as our Clinic Manager. Amy oversees the operations of that clinic, as well as provides leadership throughout our Western New York market.
In her role as Clinic Manager, Amy mentors students, provides clinical and operational oversight to the East Amherst team, and assists with community education on the benefits of physical therapy.
Jeanine Burke,

Jeanine joined Sports PT in June 2013, then left to complete a year's residency at the University of Texas Southwestern, then rejoined us in June 2015. Since that time, she has provided leadership in our Saratoga clinic and now oversees the operations of that clinic.
Jeanine is a strong leader in our Eastern New York team and contributes to our clinical specialty team as well.

Matt has been with Sports PT for 3 years and oversees the operations of our Downtown Buffalo location. During his time with us, Matt has become proficient with mentoring new students, growing relationships in our community, and educating patients on the many benefits of physical therapy.
