About this Clinic

Located in the Equinox Fitness Club in the heart of Midtown Manhattan, footsteps from several major hubs of transportation, patients from all over the Greater Manhattan area are treated at our clinic. Our experienced and energetic staff treats a variety of sports injuries, musculoskeletal and spine disorders, repetitive stress injuries, and pre and post-operative injuries. We accept most insurance plans.

Name: Claude Hillel, PT
Credentials: Facility Manager, Physical Therapist

Claude earned his BS in Physical Therapy at McGill University in Montreal, Canada in 1996, following a career in advertising and a Bachelor of Commerce in 1986, also from McGill University. Since then, Claude has attended several courses and seminars from a multitude of approaches including Maitland, McConnell, McKenzie and Paris. During this time, he has practiced in in-patient and outpatient settings, adult, child, and geriatric rehabilitation and sports medicine. His long time involvement in athletics gives him unique insight into both the circumstances of physical injury and processes of healing.

Name: Rick Daigle, PT, DPT
Credentials: Facility Manager, Doctorate in Physical Therapy

Rick joined Sports PT in September of 2007 after moving from the Boston area. He specializes in sports medicine, post-surgical rehabilitation and has a strong interest in working with baseball players. Rick has had extensive experience with high school, collegiate and even professional athletes. Prior to moving into the NY area, Rick worked at a large sports medicine clinic in Providence, RI where he had the chance to work with the Rhode Island College Baseball team providing post-surgical rehabilitation and consultation on throwing mechanics for their pitching staff. It is Rick�s goal professionally to continue his development of specializing in sports medicine and is more than willing to help all of his patients reach that next level whether it is in daily life or excelling in athletics. Rick also had the chance to spend time training at the acclaimed Cincinnati Sports Medicine and Orthopedic Center where he worked directly with Tim Heckmann, PT, ATC and Frank Noyes, MD. Rick is a former competitive skier; an avid golfer and enjoys spending time with his family.

Name: Morgan Manasse, PT, DPT
Credentials: Doctorate in Physical Therapy

Morgan is a recent Cum Laude graduate from Northeastern University having specialized in sports and orthopedic therapy. She has taken continuuing course work to specialize in techniques by Brian Mulligan, Kevin McKenzie and Kevin Wilk. Morgan has a variety of experience from outpatient PT to inpatient rehabilitation, giving her exposure to many orthopedic injuries and post surgical cases. At Northeastern, Morgan conducted her own research in Sports Medicine allowing her to provide a more in depth approach to rehabilitation. Morgan devotes her time and efforts to the successful recovery of her patients and continues to pave the way towards the future of Physical Therapy.

Name: Reginald Pointdujour, PT
Credentials: Physical Therapist

Reginald graduated from City University of New York - The College of Staten Island with a Master's of Science Degree is Physical Therapy and has worked with Sports Physical Therapy of NY ever since. A martial artist, he understands the value of fitness and wellness in life and appreciates the role of physical therapy in ensuring the rehabilitation of an "un-fit" body. Reginald has taken continuing education courses to expand his knowledge of applied science in clinic and is dedicated to his patients' recovery.

Name: Lindsay Brown, PT, DPT
Credentials: Doctorate in Physical Thearpy

Lindsay is a 2009 graduate of Columbia University's Doctor of Physical Therapy program. She has a particular interest in orthopedic physical therapy with patients who have musculoskeletal and neuromuscular impairments. She enjoys helping patients return to their previously enjoyed athletics and activities using her knowledge of manual therapy and therapeutic exercise. Lindsay is originally from Oregon and received her B.S. in Human Physiology at the University of Oregon. In her free time she loves spending time outdoors and participating in team sports including softball and ultimate frisbee.
