About this Clinic

We are located in the heart of the Financial District, across from the New York Stock Exchange, within the Equinox gym. We are a group of licensed, well-trained, experienced, and energetic physical therapists & physical therapist assistants who are focused on achieving our corporate goal of professional patient care and service in a clean, safe and high- tech environment.

Joe is a licensed Physical Therapist, NATA certified Athletic Trainer, and NSCA certified Strength & Conditioning Specialist, in practice since 1996. He is a graduate of Finch University of Health Sciences / The Chicago Medical School and Brooklyn College. His clinical expertise includes outpatient orthopedics & sports medicine. Joe resides in Brooklyn with his wife Christine and their 3 children. He is a proud father to his daughter Julia, and twins � Emily & Joseph.

Name: Crystal Thomas, DPT, CSCS
Credentials: Facility Manager, Doctorate in Physical Therapy, Certified Strength & Conditioning Specialist

Crystal is a licensed physical therapist and NSCA certified Strength & Conditioning Specialist. She is a graduate of Hampton University with a degree in Biology and received her Doctorate of Physical Therapy from Virginia Commonwealth University's Medical College of Virginia. Crystal has assisted in pre-season screenings for adolescent athletes with physicians from the Hospital for Special Surgery. She has worked with the Sports Medicine Departments of St. John's University and SUNY at StonyBrook. In addition, Crystal is an administrator and assistant dance teacher at the Venettes Cultural Workshop in Long Island, NY. She enjoys travelling, dancing and playing volleyball in her spare time.

Name: Mark Williams, DPT
Credentials: Doctorate in Physical Therapy

Mark Williams received his Bachelors in Clinical Science from Ithaca College in 2006 and went on to receive both his Master and Doctorate of Physical Therapy Degrees from Ithaca College in 2007. Prior to joining the Sports PT team, Mark worked at the Virginia Sports Medicine Institute and has clinical expertise in treating tendonitis/tendonosis as well as sports injuries. In his free time, Mark enjoys running in Central Park and playing the drums.

Name: Tracey Grant, DPT
Credentials: Doctorate in Physical Therapy

Tracey attended the University of Delaware where she majored in Exercise Science with a concentration in Exercise Physiology. She went on to get her Doctorate of Physical Therapy degree from Columbia University. Prior to working at Sports PT, Tracy worked in a burn unit at St. Barnabus Medical Center in Livingston, NJ. She also has extensive outpatient orthopedic experience around New York City. Clinically, she has a special interest in scapular strengthening and shoulder injuries. In her free time, Tracey enjoys running in the park and playing tennis.

Amy is a licensed Physical Therapy Assistant who graduated from Humboldt State University with a degree in Kinesiology and is a graduate of the Physical Therapy Assistant Program at Loma Linda University. Her post graduate experience includes working in Podiatry, Aquatic Therapy and Orthopedics. She enjoys traveling and exploring New York City in her spare time.
