Phil graduated from SUNY New Paltz in 1982 with a BS in Biology, received a BS in Physical Therapy from N.Y.U. in 1985 and a Masters Degree in Public Health from New York Medical College in 2004. Phil has over 20 years experience in outpatient orthopedic care and sports medicine, and has worked out of the Somers clinic since 1990.� In addition to sports medicine, Phil enjoys working with geriatrics and people who want to be fit and well but have little time to dedicate to it. Phil�s hobbies include coaching basketball, playing golf, kayaking and bike riding. He also enjoys reading about history and cooking fish.�He is happily married to his wife of 15 years and they have two middle school aged children who are active in sports. �
Name: Laurie Barnum, MPT, OCS, ART

Laurie has over 12 years experience and holds a Masters in Physical Therapy from Andrews University and a BS from Ithaca College. She is a Board Certified Specialist in Orthopedics and is a Master ART� (Active Release Technique) Provider in the whole body including nerve entrapments, providing a manual treatment approach with her patients. Previously Laurie worked in the San Francisco Bay area working on movement dysfunctions of all levels, including nationally ranked, NCAA and Olympic competitive athletes. Her professional interests include the following: Biomechanical assessments including video taping of function (running form, golf swing), orthotics casting, performance enhancement and joint mechanics, and traumatic amputees. Laurie�s personal interests include cycling, fitness, gardening and cooking. She is a volunteer for the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation and USA Ironman triathlons and a former shark tank diver for Newport Aquarium. Laurie is also a triathlete and rower.

Bill graduated from Hobart College in 1992 with a BA in Political Science and received a Masters Degree in Physical Therapy from New York Medical College in 1999.� Bill has 10 years experience in outpatient orthopedic and sports medicine care, and has worked in the Somers clinic since 2003. Bill's hobbies include fishing, hiking, and baseball, as he is a former minor league baseball player with the Houston Astro's organization.� Bill is married and enjoys spending time with his wife and his two young boys.
